It Isn’t Over Yet.

It just wouldn’t be Minnesota without the 6 month season that makes us special. That’s really the only thing that bothers me about our winters is that it lasts so long. Just when you think it’s getting nice out and everything is starting to melt you get a massive snow storm or an “Alberta Clipper”, also known as temperatures cold enough to freeze the snot coming out of your nose, instantly.

Last week we had a nice little reminder that Winter never ends here. In 2 days we received about 32 inches of snow, the above photo was taken Friday morning after about 24” had fallen. All of this was on top of the 15” we had received the weekend before. However, It’s not the amount of snow that we received, its how quickly it all came.

Unfortunately, I still had to venture into work on Friday. It doesn’t help that MN/DOT takes their sweet time to get everything cleared up either. I’m not going to rant on about MN/DOT though, I’ve Done That In The Past.

Anyways, everything is back to normal now. I did take some more pictures of the mess though, I got them uploaded on Flickr so if your interested Click Here.
